I ran both my diesels for 1/2 hour each today, and the Consolidation steam engine for a 1/2 hour yesterday. I did a lot of shunting on train table. I can't really call it a layout yet, but I'm working on it. I've been building buildings, quite a few of them from cardstock and paper. It's going well, but takes awhile. It was great to just be able to grab a loco, insert the batteries, and just have a great time "running trains" with no hassles or problems. Lovin' Deadrail. I've been very happy to see LocoFi going to some train shows recently. This is such a wonderful product and more folks need to hear about it. Just a couple of photos of what I've been working on. This is an example of what can be done with an HB. The sound was tempered and adjusted. The speakers are a special type for small enclosures and driven by a 500W amp. These kits will be posted on the KandRElectronics.com site soon.

Six Trains Running on the '20s, '30s & Beyond Model Railroad My HO module club has a Digitrax command station. This weekend at a public show I ran my LocoFi-equipped engine at the same time as five DCC trains without any problems. All of the tracks are powered by that one command station but the tracks are divided among three circuit breakers: east mainline, west mainline, and sidings/yards/other. This works fine because it allows seamless switching operation between tracks but a short will only disable one of the three.
