I had hoped to see it sooner than it is taking. I realize you have chosen to deal with the complexities of consisting first.
The other product I was waiting for was a steam version of sounds and modifying the app to let the user choose which type of locomotive power.
In lieu of a steam version might I suggest a non-sound version that can be either steam or diesel. Note that I am partially deaf so sound is not my highest priority.
Yes. Amrit™ is definitely on our radar. Amrit™ was demonstrated successfully at the National Train Show 2019, Salt Lake City, UT. However, we ran into some last minute production issues. We still haven't been able to resume since then. We are also trying to get more help. That should provide us more resources to focus on multiple projects at the same time.
>I realize you have chosen to deal with the complexities of consisting first.
Yes. That is our number 1 priority for now. We are very close to releasing it.

This is our next priority. In fact, we've started work on it in parallel.

That is easy. While an exclusive non-sound version isn't on our immediate roadmap, there is an easier way to not have sounds. Just replace the current sounds on the microSD with blank sounds. We provide a sample here: https://www.wifimodelrailroad.com/resources. You can even keep some sounds and not the others. Having a steam whistle should be easy replacement for a diesel horn. The only reason we simply can't replace the current engine sounds of the diesels is in the startup sequence. We are working on that and hope to bring you the steam sound specific (or dual "steam + diesel") LocoFi™ module soon.
